Dan Langevin tells his story in the next episode of Voices of Travel
Since 2001, Dan Langevin has been the Chief Commercial Officer at Softvoyage, but he’s also quick to point out that he has been “in the industry all of my life.”
In fact, both Langevin’s parents were in the travel business. His father owned several Budget Rent A Car franchises, while his mother worked for Air Canada.
Langevin recounts how he cleaned cars for his father’s business at 11 years old, observing: “That’s a long, long time ago. I started like that and then I was working at the airport renting cars and then I started on the ramp at Air Canada back home in Rouyn-Noranda, which is Northern Quebec and you know, I got the taste and that’s what I wanted to do since Day One.”
And he adds: “Once you’ve had the chance to travel, and you’re young, and you get a taste for it, it’s hard not to continue doing it.”
This week, Dan Langevin tells his story and writes the next chapter in Voices of Travel … don’t miss it.
