Couples Resorts names Allen as Canadian director of sales
Couples Resorts has named Francine Allen as its new Director of Sales, Canada, and it has also promoted Garfield Collins to Director of Strategic Accounts, North America.
In her new role, Allen will spearhead sales efforts and strengthen relationships with key partners in the Canadian market across Couples Resorts’ four iconic properties — Couples Tower Isle, Couples Sans Souci, Couples Swept Away, and Couples Negril.
Allen brings more than 17 years of experience to her new job, joining the resort team from Venturo Hospitality Group in the UK, where she was integral in leading global marketing strategies and brand management.
Her career also includes roles at Air Canada, as well as marketing, sales, and hotel operations at Sandals Resorts and Unique Vacations.

Garfield Collins’ promotion to Director of Strategic Accounts comes after a distinguished tenure at Couples Resorts, which began at Couples Swept Away in 1996.
His experience includes roles at SuperClubs and a pivotal position overseeing sales in The Bahamas, Jamaica, and Cuba before his return to Couples Resorts.
Known for his no-nonsense approach to project management and customer service, Garfield is a proven leader whose innovative strategies and keen insights have consistently driven success.
He holds a master’s degree in hospitality and hotel management and a Master’s certification in revenue management and marketing from Cornell University, alongside a certificate in professional development from Georgetown University Center for Cultural Development.
