Costa sailing with new Japan, Southeast Asia cruises
Costa Cruises is launching a new winter 2025-2026 program, with two new 15-day itineraries entirely dedicated to Asia. Costa Serena’s new cruises explore eight countries in the Far East and will be available from November 2025 through January 2026.
Starting Nov. 21, 2025, Costa Serena will offer a 15-day itinerary with a strong focus on Japan, visiting five different destinations in the country. Travelers will experience a journey to the Empire of the Rising Sun, discovering ceremonial traditions, golden temples and lush Japanese Zen gardens, all while exploring exciting cities. The full itinerary includes Tokyo, Naha, Kagoshima, Kobe and Nagasaki, Japan; Busan, South Korea; Keelung, Taiwan; and Hong Kong, China.
A second 15-day itinerary is a full immersion in Southeast Asia, highlighted by an extended port call in the city of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Guests will experience a grand adventure uncovering the boundless fields of Vietnam, golden beaches of Thailand, cosmopolitan skylines of Singapore, gorgeous scenery of the Philippines and Brunei’s mosques and local handicrafts. The itinerary includes calls at Nha Trang and Phu My, Vietnam; Koh Samui, Thailand; Bandar Seri Begawan; Puerto Princesa and Palawan, Philippines; Hong Kong, and Singapore.
The Japan itinerary will be available through Jan. 30, 2026, departing from Hong Kong and Tokyo, and will alternate with Costa Serena’s Southeast Asia cruises, which depart from Hong Kong and Singapore.
The two, non-repeating itineraries can be combined into a single 28-night holiday, visiting all 14 destinations on the extended sailing. Alternatively, for those with less time available, travelers can purchase weeklong segments of either itinerary. With a winter launch, guests can celebrate the end of 2025 and ring in the New Year on board.
Before setting sail on the new cruises in Asia, Costa Serena will undergo a renovation that will further enhance the onboard experience.
