Collette donates $5,000 towards Jasper wildfire relief

The Collette Foundation has donated $5,000 CAD to Jasper Community Team Association in the aftermath of this summer’s wildfires.

Experts from association will allocate the funding to best aid the community’s recover after the tragic events.

“We have a culture of caring at Collette and want to offer support to our partners in Alberta and Jasper, That’s our priority right now.” said Brett Walker, general manager at Collette. “Our team in Mississauga, ON regularly spends time helping at Eden Food For Change and our team in Langley, BC are regular volunteers and contributors to the local Ronald McDonald House.”

Collette is committed to making a positive impact for all future travel. The company has shifted towards working with environmentally-friendly vendors and away from using single-use products while on tour in an effort to cut down waste and reduce its carbon footprint.

In addition, every small group Explorations tour includes an Impact Moment, which offers an extraordinary travel experience for travellers while allowing them to feel an increased sense of purpose and connectedness. Collette partners with social enterprises, nonprofits and cultural or environmental conservation groups to ensure that each visit generates sustainable economic and social benefits for the community.
