Celestyal Sets A Course To Grow North American Business

As Celestyal continues to place a greater emphasis on North America — with its business growing in key source markets in this region—it has added to its sales and marketing team, which now includes 12 executives.

Recent hires include Richard Sandoval, business development manager, west coast, based in California, Stephanie McDonald, business development manager, Canada and Morgan Hatfield, marketing executive, North America, based in Virginia.

Sandoval and McDonald will collaborate to grow Celestyal’s market share in North America, by expanding the company’s visibility in the Canadian and Western U.S.

Their main responsibilities will include developing strong relationships with key travel agents, group and tour operators, increasing trade awareness, providing training and marketing support in their respective territories, and representing the company at significant industry events.

Hatfield will be responsible for developing and executing both B2B and B2C marketing campaigns throughout the U.S. and Canada.  Sandoval and McDonald will report to Jon Grutzner, vice president-business development for the Americas, and Hatfield will report to Tim Locke, director of global marketing.

Prior to joining Celestyal, Sandoval worked with Unique Vacations, Inc. and Sandals and Beaches Resorts.  He previously spent three years as a travel advisor with Auto Club of Southern California-AAA.

Prior to joining Celestyal, McDonald served as a business development manager with Royal Caribbean Cruises in Canada and Florida for the past 15 years.

Hatfield comes to Celestyal from the Easton Porter Group, where she managed the marketing for a collection of boutique hotels, wineries and restaurants located across the United States.  Prior to the Easton Porter Group, Morgan managed the marketing and social media for the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture.
