Key findings based on data from over 10,000 unique searches revealed young Canadians are still considering domestic travel, but primarily have their minds set on international destinations across Europe and Asia, with 92% of bookings being made for travel in 2022.

The most popular international destinations Contiki travellers are looking at for their next adventure abroad are: (1) Greece, (2), Italy and (3) Thailand. Shorter, more sustainable adventures are also an emerging trend beyond the most searched-for destinations, as millennials and Gen Z are seeking quick Detours to get off the tourist trail.
