AC taps Friisdahl to run new leisure travel group
Air Canada has unveiled details of plans to form an integrated leisure group that will combine the activities of its tour operator business, Air Canada Vacations, with its new low-cost leisure airline to launch in 2013. Globus connects tours with free WiFi
Globus is making staying in touch with family and friends a lot easier with the announcement that it will be making free wireless Internet connection available on most of its motorcoaches in Europe and North America starting in 2013. Stephanie Bishop, managing director for Globus in Canada, observed: "We know staying in touch with those at home is a big plus for vacationers, so we think this new service is going to be a huge hit with our customers." Sunquest has now extended its "Price Drop Guarantee" to apply to all new bookings made by Oct. 31, 2012.
