CANADIANS SHINE FOR FLORIDA

The more things change, the more they stay the same and Canadians continue to love the Sunshine State. According to officials, Canadians headed to Florida in droves for Q3 where record-setting preliminary figures showed that 516,000 Canadians made the visit, delivering a 2.9% increase in Q3 of 2013 versus the 451,000 visitors in Q3 of 2012. Preliminary year-to-date figures show that 2,981,000 Canadians visited Florida during Q1-3 of 2013 with 1,557,000 coming by air, and 1,423,000 coming by non-air, an increase of 4.1% in 2013 from the same period of Q1-3 in 2012.
