Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto
Ron Pellerine has been appointed general manager of the Shangri-La Hotel, Toronto.
Pellerine joins the hotel from the 317-room Langham Hotel, Boston where he served as general manager from 2015 to March 2017.
Pellerine brings a wealth of experience to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, with more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, covering all aspects of hotel operations, including a particular passion for food and beverage.
Prior to his time in Boston, Pellerine was general manager of the Langham Chelsea Hotel in Toronto, where he oversaw Canada’s largest hotel with 1,590 guest rooms and suites. Pellerine was first appointed general manager in 2011, when the property was managed by Delta. During his tenure, he managed the property as it went through a rebranding and a $30-million renovation.
Preceding his time at the Langham Hospitality Group, Pellerine worked internationally throughout Europe and Asia with the AccorHotels Group.
