Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) has appointed Laura Kern as its new director of global product for corporate procurement in Northern America, effective Feb. 1.

Kern’s appointment to this newly created position will consolidate the reach and performance of FCTG’s Global Corporate Product program, which builds and maintains preferred partnerships with hotel and car rental suppliers to increase land bookings with FCTG’s corporate brands worldwide. These include FCm Travel Solutions, Corporate Traveller, and Stage and Screen Travel Services.

She will be based in Toronto and be responsible for managing and strengthening FCTG’s partnerships with its North American supplier partners, and will strategically lead the development of corporate product offerings as well as their delivery and distribution, marketing, promotion, incentivisation and training via FCTG’s corporate sales, business development and account management teams.

Kern was previously the director of corporate product for FCTG’s corporate brands in Canada.
