Bahamas Tourist Office

Steven Johnson has been appointed to the post of senior manager business development at the Bahamas Tourist Office in Canada.

His responsibilities will include development and management of sales and marketing strategies to generate sales within the retail trade and tour and travel segment in Canada.

Having been previously employed by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism for more than 20 years, Johnson is very knowledgeable with the destination’s product and ongoing marketing strategies.

He has since headed A Winning Solutions – a full service representation and brand management company. In addition, Johnson has worked as the director of Convention & Event Sales with Tourism Saskatoon, and most recently as Canadian account director for the Grand Lucayan Beach and Golf Resort.
