BSAP Applications Are Now Open
It’s November and that means Baxter Student Ambassador Program (BSAP) applications are now open.
Students in their final year of tourism or hospitality programs at participating colleges and universities are encouraged to submit their applications at baxterambassadors.com.
BSAP is the only travel and tourism student mentoring program of its kind in Canada, offering learning and networking opportunities for aspiring travel industry professionals. Based on a combination of academic success, industry and community involvement, leadership skills and a skill-testing webinar presentation, one student from each of the 17 participating institutions across Canada will be named the winning Baxter Student Ambassador for their school.
Incredible opportunities for travel, learning and networking await this year’s 17 winning Ambassadors. With the support of our industry partners and sponsors, including Baxter Media, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, Collette, Contiki, Elmhirst’s Resort, Goway, Jamaica Tourist Board, Merit, Niagara Helicopters, Transat, Travel Courier, WestJet, ACTA and TIAO, winners will have the opportunity to take part in inspiring travel like a trip for two to Lisbon, Portugal, courtesy of Transat, hands-on work experiences such as a six-week internship with Contiki, professional development opportunities like a one-year membership to ACTA, and invitations to special events like a networking cocktail reception hosted by Baxter Media. Plus, these elite students will have their profile published in a special stand-alone issue of Travel Courier and gain access to the BSAP Alumni Association.
