Brand USA, Collette Team Up To Train Agents
Brand USA, in partnership with Collette, trained 409 advisors and premiered its third big-screen film “Into Nature’s Wild” during a six-city roadshow across Canada.
The cross-Canada tour made stops in Ottawa, Halifax, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. In each city, the screening also included a networking reception and a prize draw with the chance to win two tickets, provided by United Airlines, to the USA.
Brand USA senior manager, Casey Canevari, hosted the events and showcased on screen all of the travel trade resources available from Brand USA to help educate and inspire travel agents about the many diverse offerings across the United States. Included in this training was the Brand USA travel trade website, the USA Discovery Program, an online travel agent training program, Road Trips USA, which showcases multi-state fly-drive itineraries across all states and territories, GO USA TV, an online streaming service with access to over 400 destinations, and much more.
Narrated by Morgan Freeman, “Into Nature’s Wild” aims to inform, inspire and entertain the travel trade by taking them on a nonstop journey by kayak, bike, train, hot air balloon, zip line, and kiteboard to some of the most beautiful but lesser-known landscapes in the United States.
From the wilds of Alaska and the lush Oregon coast to the ancient canyons of the Southwest and the rolling hills of the Appalachian Trail, the film follows its two protagonists: Native American astronaut, John Herrington, and Alaskan pilot and youth advocate, Ariel Tweto.
Collette CEO, Dan Sullivan Jr., made an appearance at the Ottawa screening to kick off the six-city tour. Herrington joined him in Ottawa and then helped wrap up the initiative in Vancouver.
Brand USA is a firm believer in the power of films and TV to motivate travel and understands its ability to directly encourage incremental visitation and spending to the USA.
This is the third collaborative feature film produced between MacGillivray Freeman Films and Brand USA and is part of its multi-screen strategy to inspire and invite travelers from around the world to discover the vast portfolio of experiences that the United States offers.
