Become A Mexican Caribbean Expert
The Mexican Caribbean has unveiled Mexican Caribbean E-Learning, the digital English-language education platform for travel agents looking to become experts in Mexican Caribbean tourism.
The platform, which is free of charge, offers training courses consisting of key information from the region’s four main tourist destinations:
- Part 1 covers Cancun and Riviera Maya
- Part 2 covers Cozumel and Grand Costa Maya.
Each course contains important information on the sights, beaches, nature parks, accommodations and sales tips for these iconic destinations.
Dario Flota, director of the Quintana Roo Tourism Board, said that: “The Mexican Caribbean is cherished as a leading destination for travellers around the world. Our E- Learning Platform will further our international status and make our destinations even more appealing for global travel agents.”
To begin, travel agents must register their company to receive a login and initiate their training.
Each course takes an estimated 30 minutes to complete, with a maximum score of 60 points. In between the two parts, participants will receive test questions to assess their knowledge.
Participants who complete both courses and pass the tests will receive a certificate of knowledge.
The website and content are currently available in English, and the platform is under development for the Dutch, French, Portuguese, German and Spanish languages in the upcoming weeks.
