Baxter Student Ambassador Program finalists now presenting
The Baxter Student Ambassador Program (BSAP) finalist presentations are now in progress.
Two exceptional finalists from each participating college or university across Canada are conducting a virtual presentation for a judges panel made up of industry professionals. Based on their performance, one winner from each school will be selected as a Baxter Student Ambassador and will receive bursaries, prizes, professional networking opportunities, and more.
Finalists are presenting on industry-related topics like this one submitted by BSAP sponsor, Contiki:
Create a sales pitch as if you were training travel agents on how to sell Contiki to their clients. Who are they and what do they do? What does the travel agent need to know about Contiki in order to sell it to their clients?
Winners will be selected based on their product knowledge, sales focus, and verbal and visual delivery.

BSAP also publishes Where the Industry Meets Its Future, a monthly newsletter to share the program’s progress as well as career-enhancing resources and inspiration.
This month’s issue features a tourism executive’s career profile, a mentorship opportunity from TIAO, new agent training modules from Visit Orlando, and more.
