Back In Canada

Visit Orlando is hitting the road at the beginning of October with sales missions set for Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal (Laval) beginning Oct. 1.

The 2019 Visit Orlando Sales Mission will provide travel professionals with information on what’s new and coming soon, the new collection of sales tools available on the re-designed Orlando Travel Academy and the advantages of becoming an “Orlando Travel Expert.” Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet NASA astronaut/author Dr. Don Thomas, who will be representing Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and signing autographs at each event.

The evening will begin with a trade show featuring Orlando suppliers including Walt Disney World Parks & Resort, Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, as well as key hotel, attraction and transportation partners. Canada’s major tour operators will also be in attendance highlighting their Orlando offerings.

Following the trade show, a presentation will be given by Visit Orlando and their partners highlighting all that’s new and upcoming in the Theme Park Capital of the World.

Dates for the sales mission are Toronto on Oct. 1; Ottawa on Oct. 2; and Montreal (Laval) on Oct. 3.

To date an overwhelming response to the shows has resulted in a sold-out Toronto event. Agents are welcome to join the waiting list. There is still limited space available for the Ottawa and Montreal evenings.
