Alitours Puts Spotlight on Tobago
Alitours is promoting stays at four Tobago hotels, announcing rates in place from April 12 to Dec. 14.
The properties are the Coco Reef Tobago, Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf, Villa de Lena and Bacolet Beach Club.
The luxury, three-bedroom villa Villa de Lena is available from $380 a night, while nightly double rates start at $250 at Bacolet Beach Club, $260 at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf and $380 at Coco Reef Tobago.
Rates include breakfast.
Bacolet Beach club is promoted as an “exclusive boutique hotel located directly on a beautiful private beach. Luxurious, warm and friendly atmosphere, with a Beach Club, swimming pool, cafe, restaurant, bars, free WiFi, golf and shopping nearby.” All rooms have a view of the sea, four-poster king-size bed, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, fridge and tea/coffee facilities.
Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf is on a 750-acre plantation estate – “a gated community of luxury villas, condos and bungalows around an 18-hole golf course, 2.5 miles of beach, nature trails and mangrove forest.” Rooms have an oceanfront terrace or balcony, A/C, WiFi, HDTV, mini bar, private bath, safe, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers and a coffee maker.
Coco Reef is on the southwestern coast of Tobago and “has a breathtaking lobby featuring handmade terracotta tile, elegant carved staircases, 30-foot bamboo palms, fountains and statues.” Guest accommodations feature “tropical elegance with patios and balconies, exquisite wall stencils, tiled vanities and the very finest hand-crafted wicker furniture.”
