Airport Disruptions Possible at NYC Airports

Travellers to New York City are being advised to be prepare for possible disruptions as more than 1,000 security officers, baggage handlers and wheelchair attendants are expected to walk off the job for 24 hours at both John F. Kennedy and La Guardia airports.

It’s reported that workers will start walking off the job at 10 p.m. tonight (July 22) and will picket at both JFK and LGA.

Airlines Delta, American and United do not expect the job action to cause significant impact.
