Air France shares details of summer schedule

 During the summer 2025 schedule (April – October), Air France will operate up to 900 flights per day to nearly 190 destinations worldwide.

The summer of 2025 will mark the continued expansion of Air France’s long-haul network, with 87 destinations served and  overall capacity increasing by four per cent compared to summer 2024.

The following routes will be launched:

  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Riyadh (Saudi Arabia): Up to 5 weekly flights operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft, starting May 19, 2025.
  • Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Orlando (Florida): 4 weekly flights operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft, starting May 21, 2025.

In addition, the following developments will further strengthen the long-haul flight schedule:

North America

  • A seventh daily flight will be added between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York JFK, with 5 of these 7 flights operated using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft equipped with La Première. Air France’s new La Première cabin will be offered on select flights.
  • The Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Phoenix (Arizona) route, inaugurated in 2024, will be increased to 5 weekly flights operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
  • The Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Papeete (French Polynesia) via Los Angeles (California) route will become a daily service.
  • As part of its historic partnership with the Cannes Film Festival, Air France will operate special direct flights between Los Angeles and Nice from May 12 to May 26, 2025.

South America & the Caribbean

  • The Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Salvador de Bahia (Brazil) route, launched in winter 2024, will be extended into summer 2025 with 3 weekly flights operated with Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
  • Additional flights will be offered to Lima (Peru), Santiago de Chile (Chile), and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
  • Up to 8 weekly flights will be offered between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Saint Martin, operated with Airbus A330-200 aircraft. 

Africa

  • The Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Zanzibar – Kilimanjaro route (Tanzania), launched in winter 2024, will continue into the summer with up to 3 weekly flights.
  • With the addition of 3 new direct weekly flights from June 16, 2025, the Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Brazzaville (Congo) route will increase its frequency to 10 weekly flights.
  • Flights to Nairobi (Kenya) will now be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft instead of Boeing 787-9s, offering increased capacity on this route.

Asia

  • The Paris-Charles de Gaulle – Manila (Philippines) route, launched in winter 2024, will be extended into summer 2025 with 3 weekly flights operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

 Short and medium-haul updates

 On the short- and medium-haul network, Air France will operate up to 670 flights per day to 96 destinations this summer. The airline will continue expanding its service to popular Mediterranean destinations, with capacity increasing by 8% to Italy and 3% to Spain.

In addition to its regular network, Air France will offer 29 seasonal routes in France and Europe, including Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza (Balearic Islands, Spain); Rhodes and Heraklion (Greece); as well as Dubrovnik (Croatia).

Meanwhile, Transavia France, the low-cost subsidiary of the Air France-KLM Group, will offer service to 123 destinations across 38 countries this summer – for a total of 233 routes, 26 of which are new. Transavia France will once again be the leading low-cost airline on departure from Paris airports.
