ACV Expands Exclusive Sun Options
Air Canada Vacations (ACV) has added three new exclusive properties to its Sun product in Huatulco, Mexico and Liberia, Costa Rica.
The first, Isla Natura Beach in Huatulco is a 4.5 star beachfront resort set on two private beaches. The hotel includes 120 rooms – all with partial ocean views – as well as a dedicated kids club, waterpark and kids’ pool making it an ideal resort for families and groups. The resort also offers free weddings which can be held on-site or at a private beach club located 15 minutes away. Yoga, spinning and a Temazcal steam room are also included, as well as nutrition and detox classes. Guests can also use facilities at the private beach club.
The second addition is the 3.5-star La Isla Huatulco & Beach Club. Converting to a full-fledged all-inclusive property this winter, La Isla is located near Huatulco’s central bay of Chahue and the main towns of La Crucesita and Santa Cruz.
The resort has 94 rooms, a full restaurant and bar, pool with separate area for kids, and a large gym with a lounge area. Guests will also receive free transfers to the hotel’s private beach club and ACV guests will receive one free tour at the resort’s sister property.
The addition of these two properties in Huatulco aligns with ACV’s growth strategy out of Western Canada. The tour operator has significantly increased its flight frequencies into Mexico as well as its capacity by 130%.
In Costa Rica, ACV has added the Azura Beach Resort Samara in Liberia. This exclusive 4.5 star beachfront property is set to open in March. It will offer 73 rooms, three gourmet restaurants, two bars, a kid’s club, swim-out pool rooms, pool and beach waiter service, complimentary honeymoon bonus, and a “Stay at 1, Play at 2” option offering guests full access to the Hotel Villas Playa Samara property located next door.
