ACTA hosting webinars with IGLTA & Sabre this month

ACTA will be featuring two important webinars in August.

The first webinar is with Sabre on helping agencies adopt NDCs. The second focuses on LGBTQ+ Travel and Advocacy in the travel industry.

Advancing LGBTQ+ Travel and Advocacy in the Travel Industry – Updates from IGLTA and ACTA
Aug. 15 at 1 p.m.

Renato Gagliardi, Global Membership Director (he/him) of IGLTA, will provide an update on the organization’s activities. IGLTA’s mission focuses on supporting LGBTQ+ travelers and expanding LGBTQ+ tourism globally, emphasizing its social and economic impact. Renato will discuss how IGLTA upholds its core values of integrity, community, partnership, and pride in its work.

Following Renato’s update, the ACTA team will present an advocacy update. This segment will cover recent developments, ongoing initiatives, and future plans related to ACTA’s efforts in promoting and protecting the interests of travel agencies and independent travel advisors.

Power in Partnership: How Sabre Helps Agencies Adopt NDC

Join ACTA and Sabre to receive an introduction to Sabre's approach with NDC including its content and capabilities. You will receive a live demonstration on what booking NDC through Sabre’s agency point of sale, Sabre Red 360 looks like and receive all you the information you need to know to get started with NDC at Sabre. The presentation will be followed with a Q and A.

Sabre’s goal with NDC is to empower travel advisors with richer content and more personalized offers from airlines, ultimately enhancing the booking experience for travellers and improving efficiency for agencies.
