#TBT Absolutely Unbelievable – Do You Remember?

It’s hard to believe that it was a little bit over a year ago that Canada’s travel industry was celebrating its supplier Favourites at the second annual Agents’ Choice Awards Gala in Toronto.

But it has been.

Yes, exactly 12 months ago, close to 400 attended the spectacular evening at Toronto’s Arcadian Court, celebrating the 43 Favourite travel suppliers as selected by 6,512 agents from across Canada.

And the energy of the Agents’ Choice Gala celebrations went beyond electric as it took place on the same night that the Toronto Raptors became NBA Champions – the first Canadian basketball team to achieve this feat.

Talk about a night to remember – you could feel the buzz from Jurassic Park all night long.

And while Baxter Media has paused the 2020 Agents’ Choice Survey and postponed the 2020 Agents’ Choice Gala — which the industry would have been celebrating tonight if plans hadn’t been disrupted by COVID-19 — we thought we’d step back into the past today and remind everyone that not only are there a lot of good times to come for this industry in the future, we also wanted to tell you that no matter what, you are all our Favourites.

So, stay well, stay strong … we’ll be celebrating soon and that’s a promise.

While the Agents’ Choice Awards Gala has been postponed this year, Baxter Media will be virtually celebrating the industry with the publication of the 2020 Agents’ Choice Awards results in the September 28 issue of Canadian Travel Press.
