A little luxury at Halepuna Waikiki
Honolulu’s newest luxury boutique hotel opened in the fall on the site of the former Waikiki Parc Hotel. The fully re-imagined property debuted after a year of renovations as the Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani.
It encompasses 284 guest rooms, four suites, the first ever Halekulani Bakery and Restaurant, a full-service all-day casual dining concept, a dramatic eighth-floor pool deck and bar, and a fitness studio and hospitality lounge.
The Halepuna, or “House of Welcoming Waters,” was inspired by its neighboring sister property Halekulani.
After a multi-million-dollar transformation that started in October 2018, the new property has opened as Waikiki’s most innovative upscale boutique hotel, located near to the fabled Waikiki waterfront.
The remodeled, raised wood pool deck on the eighth floor features an infinity lap-style swimming pool, jacuzzi, poolside bar and luxury cabanas with ocean views.
The eighth floor also houses the expansive fitness center and hospitality lounge connecting to an open-air lana’i garden.
