A LITTLE ADVENTURE IN IRELAND
Ireland has won its bid to host the Adventure Travel Trade Association\’s (ATTA) 2014 Adventure Travel World Summit (ATWS). The summit will take place from Oct. 6 to Oct. 9, 2014 in Killarney.
Over 650 delegates from around the globe will gather to learn, be inspired and connect more deeply with the $263 billion adventure travel sector.
ATTA president Shannon Stowell said: \”We have been working with Ireland for many years now. They have been strong ambassadors for the global adventure tourism community and their collaborative approach and dedication to sustainable economic development made the 2014 Summit decision straight-forward.\”
Stowell continued: \”Tour operators in Ireland are poised to succeed and will be ready to showcase adventure activities and cultural immersive experiences that are distinctively Irish.\”
ATTA will hold its 2013 summit in Namibia from Oct. 26 to Oct. 31.
