Opus, YOO Hotels & Resorts Launch Partnership
Canada’s Opus Hotel Corporation and U.K.-based YOO Hotels and Resorts have launched a brand partnership and 10-year expansion plan to develop and operate a series of OPUS by YOO Collection and OPUS by yoo2 hotels across Canada and Mexico, as well as in select US markets.
The exclusive partnership will allow both globally recognized boutique hoteliers to explore ground-up development, repositioning and management opportunities in North America’s key urban and resort destinations. The deal also includes an exclusivity arrangement for Opus Hotel Corporation within the Canadian and Mexican markets.
The first OPUS by YOO Collection hotel, the 110-suite Versante, is scheduled to launch in early 2019 at the Vancouver International Airport. Other OPUS by YOO destination properties slated for development include both Canada’s as well as Mexico’s Pacific West Coast.
