The Dominican Republic Tourism Board hosted an industry event at the Toronto Blue Jays game last night (Sept. 21), treating guests to the game in a private box. Fortunately, the Dominican was largely spared from Hurricanes Irma and Maria, although some flooding was reported. Speaking with PressToday, Abdalah Castillo, chairman of the tourist board in Toronto, said they were fairly lucky. “We were slapped twice, but not bruised,” he said.
