Beaches Turks & Caicos Closed Until December
After a thorough assessment of the work that needs to be done at Beaches Turks & Caicos following Hurricane Irma, Sandals Resorts International has announced that the resort will remain closed and will begin accepting guests on Dec. 14.
Guests affected by the temporary closure may choose to be re-accommodated at Beaches Resorts in Jamaica or to any available Sandals resort during this period, or reschedule their travel dates to return to Beaches Turks & Caicos.
“It is with tremendous relief and gratitude that I can share with you that our guests and team at Beaches Turks and Caicos are safe and well. I am truly humbled by the spirit of community and co-operation that has brought this small, but mighty country through the storm,” said Gordon Butch Stewart, chairman of Sandals Resorts International. “This has been an extraordinary week for too many people and our thoughts and prayers go those impacted. We are among the lucky ones and are counting our blessings.”
