Celebrating Pride in Montreal

Fierté Montréal/Montréal Pride festivities – Aug. 10-20 – welcomed travellers from around the world last weekend to thousands of revellers celebrating diversity and a city of inclusiveness, reports Press Today’s Armando Mendonca.

Justin Trudeau marched in the parade on Sunday accompanied with the Prime Minister of Ireland, Leo Varadkar, representing a landmark moment as the first time a foreign head of government has joined a prime minister in a Canadian Pride celebration.

Air Canada leads the rainbow colour theme parade with AC volunteers, family, friends and yours truly.
