Agents and various other industry members were in a generous mood during the Transat Sun Academies cross-Canada tour in September, contributing a total of $6,300 to SOS Children’s Villages. That organization, present in 134 countries, is the world’s largest charity providing loving homes for children who have been abandoned or orphaned.
Transat has been a SOS Children’s Villages partner since the fall of 2009. It was the first humanitarian cause to be supported by the entire company as a way to show Transat’s commitment to communities in its origin and destination countries. To date, Transat has contributed $2 million to SOS Children’s Villages.
