InterContinental Toronto Yorkville

Gerasimos Ferentinos has been appointed general manager at the InterContinental Toronto Yorkville.

Gerasimos has worked in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years, starting in operations then moving to finance where he stayed for almost 12 years. In 2008, he moved to the InterContinental Budapest as director of finance and business support. In 2011 he transferred to the InterContinental Berlin and was promoted to executive assistant manager in 2013, then hotel manager in 2014, where he led the hotel in achieving a Green Engage Level 3 certification. At that time, the InterContinental Berlin was one of only eight hotels globally to achieve the level.
