Karisma Targets Agents With New Initiatives
Karisma Hotels & Resorts has unveiled a commission increase to 21%, a new loyalty travel club and a variety of weddings and romance-related offerings and tools exclusively for its Gourmet Inclusive Vacation Consultants (GIVC).
In making the announcement, Mandy Chomat, vice-president of sales & marketing for Karisma Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are extremely proud of Karisma Hotels & Resorts’ growth and success over the past year but know that none of it would be possible without the support of our dedicated travel agents.”
Chomat continued: “Despite the industry focus on direct bookings, Karisma Hotels & Resorts has continued to bolster benefits and incentives for our partners to ensure that we are together evolving and building upon last year’s momentum for even greater success in 2016.”
The first and most dramatic perk for Karisma’s GIVCs will be a commission increase to 21% that takes effect immediately.
In response to feedback from agents, Karisma has launched a loyalty travel club program that rewards GIVCs for memberships purchased by their clients.
The program promises agents a free two- or three-night stay (based on type of membership purchased) at any Karisma property in Mexico, Jamaica or the Dominican Republic at any room category with no blackout dates when their clients purchase a membership with Exotic Travelers or Prestige Travelers by Karisma.
Additionally, GIVCs will receive one free night every time their original client travels back to any Karisma property for the next 10 years.
And for GIVCs booking destination weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries and romance getaways, Karisma debuted a Co-branded Romance website, Co-branded Memorable Moments Wedding Web site and a Free Private Events Promotion.
The co-branded web sites are powered by Karisma Hotels & Resorts but include each agency and agent’s personal logo and contact information on every page, assisting them to constantly be marketing their businesses.
As well, partners will have personal booking engines on their web sites, a new way to generate and collect leads and strategic e-marketing on their behalf with professionally designed and strategically deployed e-blasts. GIVCs are rewarded for signing up with exclusive booking bonuses of up to $375.
