He’s Back!
Craig Kijek is back in business joining Huntington Travel Services (HTS) as its new president.
Huntington Travel’s CEO, Kiran Budhdev commented: “We look forward to having Craig join the team, and bring with him his wealth of industry knowledge as we enter a new wave of growth in the Canadian marketplace.”
Budhdev added: “We are at heart a family business and it is with much excitement that we welcome Craig to the Huntington family.”
Since its inception, Huntington Travel has become one of Canada’s most successful consolidators and tour operators. Kijek will become instrumental in taking Huntington Travel Services to the next level of success in the dynamic travel industry.
As for Kijek, he said: “I am excited to join the Huntington and look forward to continue building a world-class travel consolidator and tour operator right here in Canada.
In his new role at Huntington Travel, Kijek will be responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy along with its day-to-day operations in conjunction with the existing HTS leadership team.
Kijek holds a degree from the University of Ottawa and attended business school in France. He started his career with French airline UTA, and then joined CP Air in Canada.
In 1991, Craig began working in the B2B travel industry, progressing to the role of director general at Intair. More recently, he was senior vice-president independent travel at TravelBrands.
