Rocky Mountaineer

Monique Gomel has been appointed vice-president of Global Marketing and Communications at Rocky Mountaineer.

Based in Vancouver, Gomel will pilot a shift in the company’s strategic approach and communications, allowing Rocky Mountaineer to continue to move toward its aggressive global growth goals.

Prior to joining Rocky Mountaineer, Gomel was vice-president of marketing for Earls Restaurants, where she recently led the brand’s expansion into the US and has been a significant contributor to the company’s growth. She also served as global marketing director with Electronic Arts, leading the successful worldwide launch of EA Sports Active, Electronic Arts’ first entry into the fitness segment. She also held previous roles at L’Oreal Paris and Pfizer Consumer Healthcare.
