Patterson Steps Down at Trafalgar

Doug Patterson (r) has decided to step down as the president of Trafalgar Canada, it was announced by the Travel Corporation on this afternoon (Friday, June 12, 2015).

In making the announcement the Travel Corporation noted that Patterson has been an “integral part” of the company’s various brands for close to three decades and that he will be “greatly missed” and that it wished him “all the best in his future endeavours.”

Jeff Element, president of the Travel Corporation, Canada, commented, “A big thank you to Doug for helping lead a strong team at Trafalgar for the past six years and for ensuring we have the most outstanding reputation in our industry. We need to continue this same level of responsiveness and support everyone has come to expect from Trafalgar.”

Element continued, “To that end, we are very fortunate to have Wolf Paunic, Trafalgar’s current vice-president of sales ready and excited to step up to the role of president for Trafalgar Canada. Please join me in wishing Doug well and in congratulating Wolf on his new role.”

Of his new role, Paunic said, “I am very excited and proud to lead the Trafalgar brand in Canada and continue to work closely with our valued agent partners. We have the right mix of knowledge, passion and experience across our dedicated team members nationwide to elevate Trafalgar, the Insider of guided vacations to the top of mind of Canadian travellers.”
