Cobble Beach Offers ‘Cottage Stay-and-Play’
Cobble Beach – a Georgian Bay waterfront golf resort community two hours northwest of Toronto – has introduced its spring “Cottage Stay-and-Play” package for golf getaways to kick off the 2015 season.
Starting at $144 from course opening (based on weather) to May 22 (per person, based on quad occupancy), the offer features one round on the destination’s Doug Carrick-designed layout with water views from most every hole. One night of accommodation is included in a private cottage as well as a “Grab and Go” breakfast, golf cart, bottled water and use of the first-class practice facilities.
During the same time frame, two rounds with one night’s accommodation starts at $219. Two rounds and two night’s lodging begin at $284. These rates are also per person based on quad occupancy (applicable taxes are extra). The package is ideal for golf buddies, families and small corporate retreats.
Each cottage sleeps six to eight and provides an open concept living space and waterfront views of scenic Georgian Bay. Each unit is outfitted with two bedrooms, two washrooms, living room area with queen size sofa bed, wet bar with under counter fridge and three flat screen televisions.
The Cobble Beach layout features subtle, strategic bunkers dotting the 7,134-yard routing. Pure-rolling fescue greens, many with teasing pin locations, await well-struck approaches for hopes of a birdie putt. Each hole has multiple tee-boxes and “safer routes” to suit players of all abilities.
Property amenities include a comfortable Nantucket-style clubhouse highlighted by its chef-driven Sweetwater Restaurant & Bar, resort-calibre spa and fitness centre.
