Texas/San Antonio night at the Air Canada Centre Sunday — coinciding with the NBA defending champion San Antonio Spurs playing the Toronto Raptors — saw state and city tourism officials host a small trade group in a private box to talk up the destination, but also tempt fans with a bonanza of promotions and advertising, made actionable with support by Redtag.ca. Conversation covered the weather – great! — as well as the city’s authentic Texas culture, vibrant food scene and renowned attractions like River Walk and The Alamo.
