Renovated Allegro Cozumel Reopens

Following significant renovations, Occidental Hotels & Resorts reports that the Allegro Cozumel Resort has reopened, just in time for the holiday season.

Upon arrival, guests can experience a revitalized lobby area boasting a design scheme that celebrates the region. Evoking a Yucatan hacienda with minimalistic, yet distinct textures and colours, the new lobby reflects the natural beauty surrounding the resort.

El Topaz, the buffet-style restaurant, features a brand new buffet, while El Oriental, the property’s à la carte Asian restaurant, has been completely redesigned with large teppanyaki tables and a self-service sushi bar to complement the restaurant’s diverse menu. The resort has also introduced a new à la carte restaurant, The Italian, which is open for dinner and captures the essence of an art gallery with decorative murals, extravagant curtains and mirrors displayed on the walls.

Sports fans on property can enjoy access to the resort’s first Sports Bar located near the main lobby and featuring a two-in-one concept, both an open lounge area with high-top tables and a section of private booths. Allegro Cozumel’s guests ages 13 to 17 years will delight in the new Teens Club, the water sports-themed room featuring game tables and consoles for various activities. The newly built Disco Bar will feature music from around the world, where guests can dance the night away.

Also among the new areas on property are a spa and fitness centre, tennis courts, theatre and more.
