The Travel Agent Next Door Appointments

The Travel Agent Next Door is growing its head office team to support its growing network of home-based agents and agency support services for travel agencies.

The company recently welcomed three new team members.

Sanji Zaman, travel agent services co-ordinator, will set agents up with all the preferred and approved suppliers when they join the group. Zaman will also ensure that agents are set up on all other systems they will need. She is a graduate of the Travel & Tourism program at Seneca College.

Maritza Reano joins the team as accounting co-ordinator. Reano will focus on the day-to-day accounting processes and reconciliations, including agent commissions. Previously, she was with a large travel agency group working with corporate accounts.

Catherine Sternberg has been appointed agent support co-ordinator, part of the support team assisting agents with all aspects of their business including Global Matrix, all other systems and marketing systems. Sternberg was most recently with Global Matrix, after teaching at Humber College and serving as training manager at a large retail chain.
