Air France and KLM officials hosted a group of travel industry personnel at the Gardiner Museum in Toronto last night (Oct. 9) as the airlines celebrate their 80th and 95th anniversaries, respectively. Officials also took the opportunity to officially introduce Jean-Noel Rault, the newly appointed Air France KLM vice-president and general manager, Canada. Rault, who took over the Canadian appointment on July 1, thanked those attending for their support, apologized for Air France’s recent labour dispute – a 14-day pilot strike which is reportedly costing the airline 500 million euro – and assured everyone that it is once again business as usual for the airline. Rault is pictured with KLM’s Femke Krosese (c) and Air France’s Diane Audet.
