Transat Makes Changes
Transat is continuing to make changes. The company indicates that these are part of the ongoing integration of Vacances TMR on the one hand, and on the other of a strategic thinking process that it has been conducting in order to improve our efficiency. Transat has also completed the integration of its Transat Discoveries team within the Transat Tours Canada structure, which entails changes within these teams and at TTC, particularly on the commercial side.
All brands (Transat Holidays, Nolitours, TMR and Transat Discoveries) will now be represented by a single sales team and a new structure has been created with the objective of maximizing expertise, optimizing efficiencies and enhancing service levels to our partners.
In addition to her responsibilities for Ontario and Atlantic Canada, Nicole Bursey will now oversee the sales organization in Western Canada.
In Ontario and Atlantic Canada, Bursey will be supported by sales manager, Dan Prior. The Transat Tours Canada Commercial team in Quebec will now be under the responsibility of Louise Fecteau, formerly head of sales and marketing at TMR.
Fecteau will be supported by sales managers, Manon Doucet (Europe and Transat Discoveries) and Sylvie Murdock (South and Cruise).
All group departments now report directly to Pat Brady, Transat’s national director of groups.
The company will maintain its regional group departments and a large field sales force of business development representatives from coast to coast. Some minor changes in terms of territory realignment may occur over the coming weeks. If agencies are being serviced by a new representative, they will be contacted shortly. There are no changes to our National Accounts team.
