VIA Extends 20/20 Student Pass Deadline

VIA Rail Canada has extended the purchase deadline for its new 20/20 Discount Card youth pass through Oct. 13 for travel anywhere on the VIA Rail network.

The 20/20 Discount Card, priced at $20 plus taxes, is valid for one year and provides students and youth with a 20% savings on Economy or Economy Plus fares across VIA’s network. It also offers a 10% discount on VIA Rail’s most affordable Escape fares.

“Whether travelling between school and home, visiting friends or exploring new destinations, these discounts make train travel more attractive and affordable. VIA also offers complementary Wi-Fi on the Quebec City-Windsor corridor, making young travellers trips seamlessly connected,” says Martin R. Landry, chief commercial officer.

Passengers must be between 12 and 25 years of age or 26 and over with a valid ISIC card.
