WestJet Incentive

WestJet Vacations is now offering commissions on new WestJet Vacations bookings when WestJet dollars are used as partial payment.

Commissionable bookings using WestJet dollars came into effect yesterday (Aug. 14). WestJet Vacations will pay agents commission on the base package price (less the WestJet dollars) when using WestJet dollars to book a vacation package.

“We have always supported the travel agent community and they are a very important partner in our business,” said Tim Croyle, WestJet vice-president and general manager, WestJet Vacations. “We strive to be open and fair, and this new incentive for agents booking vacation packages using WestJet dollars is another example of our commitment to this goal. Every new initiative, including commissions on WestJet dollar bookings, the WestJet Vacations interactive brochure, the soon to launch travel agent resource site, the WestJet Vacations Price Guarantee and the Hooray for TAs appreciation campaign are a direct result of feedback from travel agents, and we intend to keep listening and working on their behalf.”
