Ensemble Elects Five New Directors
Ensemble Travel Group has announced the election results of its North American Board of Directors with a total of five directors being elected by Ensemble members, three from the US and two from Canada.
Newly elected members to the 2014 Ensemble Travel Group Board of Directors are Barbara Crowe, Ixtapa Travel, Saskatoon, SK (incumbent); Robert Durant, WD World Travel Ltd., Vancouver (incumbent); Linda Sains, Lindale Travel, Asheville, NC; Ross Spalding, Crown Cruise Vacations, Princeton, NJ; and Mary Ann Strasheim, Custom Cruises & Travel, Omaha, NE.
The board is responsible for providing input on key strategic initiatives and programs to help members become more profitable and to support the Ensemble network of preferred suppliers. Board members guide the overall direction of the organization, strengthening and leveraging its North American position in the marketplace.
The five newly elected directors join the following who are currently serving on the Ensemble board: Ian Biddlecombe, TravelTST.ca, Richmond, BC; Roxanne Boryczki, Arizona Trails Travel, Fountain Hills, AZ; Nadia Giudice-Aslan, Voyages Groupe Ideal, Montreal, QC; David Harris, Orion Travelinx in Burlington, ON; Philip Houde, River East Travel & Cruise Centre, Winnipeg, MB; Craig Pavlus, Pavlus Travel, Albuquerque, NM; Jill Romano, Dimensions in Travel, Novato, CA; Susan Tanzman, Martin’s Travel and Tours, Los Angeles, CA; and Warren Buckner, Gayety Travel Service, Brooklyn, NY (member emeritus).
