Enterprise Challenges Hockey Fans
With the National Hockey League 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs set to start tonight, Enterprise Rent-A-Car – an official partner of the NHL – in partnership with hockey analyst Barry Melrose, has launched the Playoffs edition of the company’s NHL Hat Trick Challenge.
Beginning today (April 16) and until the Stanley Cup champion is crowned, hockey fans can visit hattrick.nhl.com to test their ability to predict various game outcomes, including which teams will win, and which players will score goals and make assists. Every day that games are scheduled, Enterprise and the NHL will pose three questions on the Hat Trick Challenge web site, and if an individual answers all three questions correctly, a hat trick is scored. The individual who scores the most hat tricks throughout the playoffs will win the Hat Trick Challenge and receive two tickets and a trip to the 2015 NHL All-Star Game in Columbus, Ohio.
In addition to competing for the trip to the 2015 NHL All-Star Game, participants can create custom Hat Trick Challenge leagues and play against friends and family, as well as other fans of their favorite team. Top Hat Trick Challenge players will appear on a leaderboard on the web site, and the top 15 hat trick scorers will be featured on the homepage.
The Playoffs edition of the Hat Trick Challenge will be supported by an integrated marketing campaign that includes digital advertising, public relations and social media. Melrose will take part in the campaign, including media appearances.
In addition to the Hat Trick Challenge, Enterprise will air a new commercial throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs featuring St. Louis Blues forward T.J. Oshie. The spot begins airing April 16.
