Uniworld launched its new Super Ship, the S.S. Catherine in Lyon, France during a christening ceremony by the ship’s Godmother, famous French actress, Catherine Deneuve.

The red carpet event featured a live band and the ceremonial breaking of a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne across the ship’s bow by Deneuve.

The inauguration was attended by 150 industry guests who had the opportunity to experience the three-day sailing launch of Uniworld’s newest addition.
