Travel Counsellors Goes Global With Incentive

Travel Counsellors has launched a global sales incentive to its worldwide family of agents this month. The “TC Treasures of the Caribbean” challenge, in partnership with the Virgin Atlantic, Harlequin Hotels and Resorts and Sandals, sees all 1,300 Travel Counsellors across seven countries competing to win a very special luxury celebration trip to St Lucia in the Caribbean, later in the year.

 The sales incentive is hosted through the company’s intranet system and sees 32 global teams compete in multiple challenges each day over a 4 week period, sailing across a virtual ocean in search of “buried TC treasure.” As the challenge continues to run, the company’s Travel Counsellors agents have seen their sales increase by 11%.

 Malcolm Hingley, sales director at Travel Counsellors, said: “Our global incentives are one of the key highlights of the year for our Travel Counsellors. It’s a great opportunity to kick start the New Year and to motivate our agents from across the globe. The competition is proving a great success so far and an effective way to encourage our Travel Counsellors to get those all-important sales whilst having fun and creating a strong sense of camaraderie.”

 The challenge is not just about sales and reviews, there are a number of different challenges which will be revealed on a daily basis. The aim is to keep excitement levels up and to ensure colleagues work together across the globe. As a result there are daily matches where teams go head-to-head and time periods where bonus points can be earned for a diverse range of activities.
