Snow Days on for a month in Banff

Snow Days, the annual celebration of winter at Banff National Park, is now underway with its most robust schedule of activities, events and performances ever.

This third annual festival kicked off with the Molson Canadian Olympic Team Block Party, the SkiBig3 Slide & Ride and the inaugural Big Bear ski & snowboard exhibition.

It will run until Feb. 9, with events like the Ice Magic Festival, at Lake Louise over two weekends; the MEC Ice Climbing Festival at Banff Avenue Square’s 40-foot ice wall Jan. 31 to Feb. 2; and the Alberta Winter Games Feb. 6-9.
