It’s just a little over a month until Air Canada rouge takes off and the carrier is pulling out all the stops. This week, AC rouge unveil the fashionable look of it inflight team — Canadian designed and Canadian made — at a glitzy presentation at the new John Fluevog Shoes shop located in Toronto’s Distillery District. Jeanne Beker, host of Bell Media’s Fashion Television Channel, was there to introduced the new look uniform that will be worn AC rouge’s flight attendants. And some of the 150 newly trained flight attendants were there as well to model their new uniforms. AC rouge plans to hire 2,000 flight team members over the next three years. Also on hand for the event were Michael Friisdahl, president and CEO, Air Canada Leisure Group. Renee Smith-Valade, vice-president, customer experience, Air Canada rouge. John Fluevog, designer and founder, John Fluevog Shoes and lots of very happy looking AC, AC rouge and ACV executives. In the photo, you’ll see some of AC rouge’s flight attendants sporting the new uniform along with Jeanne Beker, Michael Friisdahl and Renee Smith-Valade.
