The Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority (LVCVA) embarked on an aggressive sales mission in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto in early May, promoting “Vegas Unexpected.” Representatives from close to 20 Las Vegas hotels participated, with presentations including updates on the latest shows, hotel properties, resident performers, restaurants and much more. As well, Vegas representatives were able to demonstrate key signature elements of their brand through meetings, roundtable discussions and one on one appointments in order to drive awareness for the Las Vegas brand. Representatives from Las Vegas included MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, Cirque du Soleil, Golden Nugget, Graceland Wedding Chapel, Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas, Hilton Grand Vacations Club, Las Vegas Hotel Casino, Maverick Helicopters & Airlines, Papillon Helicopters and Scenic Airlines, Suncoast Hotel & Casino, The Orleans Hotel and Casino, Treasure Island, Wynn Las Vegas, Nevada Commission on Tourism, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. And after all of that, the group even had time to pose for a photo.
