It’s official. Canadians are now full owners in Ensemble Travel Group. Recent changes in the organization’s structure gives Canadian members the opportunity to buy shares in Ensemble Travel Group a status that until now was only open to US-based members and one that solidifies its position as the only member-owned North American co-operative in the travel industry. Now, in their first official act as full-fledged owners of Ensemble Travel Group, members in Canada are being encouraged to consider running for a seat on the organization’s board of directors. Under the new North American structure, the board will be comprised of six Canadians and seven Americans. The deadline for nominations is April 24, followed by the election in early May. For the last 28 years, a six-member Canadian Advisory Board (CAB) has served as the voice of Ensemble Travel Group members in Canada. Pictured are members of the CAB at their last official meeting earlier this month.
